This morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Akiva Yonason Weiss, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Yismach Moshe beis medrash in honor of the simcha of the bris milah of a grandson, a newborn son of Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Meisels shlit"a, son-in-law of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a, and son-in-law of HaGaon Rabbi Yehoshua Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Radovitz, son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Brezdovitz shlit"a, and son-in-law of the Papa Rebbe shlit"a.

Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yirmiyahu Tzvi Roth.
- The bochur Yoel Roth.

After davening, the simcha of the bris milah took place in the main hall of the beis medrash, and the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with the role of sandek.
- Mohel: the Papa Rebbe shlit"a.
- Sandek (standing): the grandfather, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a.
- Blessings and naming: the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Brezdovitz shlit"a. The child was named in Yisroel "Yekusiel Yuda," after the older grandfather, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Sighet zt"l.
After the bris, the congregation came over to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov, and a lechayim took place for the bar mitzvah bochurim in the private room.

A few minutes later, the Rebbe entered the seudas bris in the main hall of the beis medrash. At the seudah, the baal simcha, the father of the baby, Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga shlit"a, spoke, as did the grandfathers, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Brezdovitz shlit"a, and the HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a.
The Rebbe honored his grandson, Rabbi Meir Eliezer Meisels shlit"a, with Yom Libeshah.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered words of Torah on the topic of bris milah, and warmly blessed the baal simcha shlit"a, the esteemed grandfathers, and the entire gathering.
For bentching, the Rebbe honored the mohel, the Papa Rebbe shlit"a, and the family members with the Harachamans. The seudah concluded at around 1:30.
Afterward, the Rebbe went upstairs to the home of the grandfather, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the Yismach Moshe beis medrash shlit"a, where the Rebbe offered blessings to the new mothers.

In the afternoon, at around 4:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his home.

After Mincha, the Rebbe set out for Shikun Skvira, where he participated in the chuppah at the wedding of a grandchild of his brother-in-law, the Skver Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe arrived at around 5:20. After the chuppah, the Rebbe offered good wishes to his brother-in-law, the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, to the mechutan, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a, and to the rabbonim shlit"a in attendance.
Then, at around 5:45, the Rebbe set out for Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.

Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 7:00, the Rebbe first went to affix a mezuzah at the new home and beis medrash in Williamsburg of the distinguished philanthropist, man of chesed, R' Shlomo Zalman Feder, one of the leading supporters of the Rebbe's mosdos everywhere.
The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah and then looked around the beis medrash. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly blessed R' Shlomo Zalman and his family.

The reception hours at the Rebbe's residence on Hooper St. ran from 7:30 until 11:45 at night.

During the reception hours, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Ibran shlit"a, paid a visit. A fine conversation developed on the topic of sofrus and about the new, mehudar quill from Stein for writing STa"M, and the Rebbe shared of his holy blessing with him.
