Wednesday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe participated in the levaya and accompanied the bier of R' Yoshe Heshil Dresdner a"h, in front of the Beis Medrash HaGadol.

At around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- R' Yitzchak Shlomo Polatschek – R' Shabsi Yaakov Wertheimer, in the halls of Beis Rochel Paradise.
- Rabbi Avrohom Yoel Löffler shlit"a (of Williamsburg) – R' Moshe Yekusiel Schwartz, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

Reception hours with the Rebbe were from 8:20 until 1:00 after midnight, in his holy home on Ohel Ct.

During the reception hours, HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, entered to see the Rebbe, and they discussed and reviewed many questions that are arising now in preparation for the upcoming Yom Tov of Pesach, and especially questions arising from Shabbos Erev Pesach.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 9:50. The Rebbe lit candles and went to the amud in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbe's grandmother, the Rebbetzin Bracha Sima a"h, wife of the Chaver of Maran HaGaon HaKadosh, the Eitz Chaim zy"a.

After Maariv, the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Yoel Shalom Schaffer (of Williamsburg) – R' Shimon Yoel Gutman, and then continued receiving the public.
