The rich booklet "Kinus Sofrim" is being published by the "Halachic Guidance Office for Matters of Sta"m" under the auspices of our holy kehilla of Williamsburg

A wonderful compilation containing responsa, clarifications and elucidations on the craft and writing of Sta"m and the sanctity of a Sefer Torah. Among other items, it includes a historic halachic responsum from the treasured archives of the holy Rebbe, the Beirach Moshe zy"a; a fervent address to sofrei Sta"m by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a; and further halachic responsa from the Rabbonim HaGaonim shlit"a, among them the great Gaon, one of the leading poskim of our generation, the Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Kiryas Joel, author of Agolei Dal, shlit"a, and the great Gaon, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Monsey shlit"a.

This first-time project, in honor of the "days of our joy," the celebration of the "Hachnasas Sefer Torah" of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a!!, is being distributed IY"H in these days to the mikvah-goers in our batei medrash throughout New York.
