Yizkor was recited. Due to the great crowding of the many thousands of men upon entering after Yizkor, special barriers were set up in all wings and on the south and north sides of the beis medrash to prevent life-threatening dangers when so many thousands of Jews go out and come in at once.

After a few minutes the Rebbe returned wearing the kittel, and the Rebbe approached the amud and recited the Prayer for Rain, Ledavid Mizmor and Kaddish. The shamash, HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Kaufman, called out "Mashiv HaRuach Umorid HaGeshem."
The Rebbe shlit"a blessed for rain with great arousal.

Opening for Geshem: HaRav HaChassid R' Mordechai Landau; for Kavei: HaRav HaChassid R' Yitzchak Ehrenfeld; opening for Na'im Zemiros: R' Shmuel Benedict (Manchester). It concluded at around 3:20.

After a few minutes the Rebbe shlit"a entered the great sukkah for Kiddush as is customary. The Rebbe made Kiddush and tasted from the mezonos, nanet, kindel and fish.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the text of the Prayer for Rain, "to give life, we mention the might of the rain," and explained that the prayers of the earlier tzaddikim have accomplished for good until this very day, that Jewish children benefit from them with all kinds of salvations.
It concluded at around 3:45.

The Rebbe conducted the afternoon meal together with his family members in the sukkah at his holy home, with an open door. For the zemiros, the Rebbe honored HaGaon R' Sinai Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a.

For Bentching, the Rebbe honored his brother, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a.

In the afternoon at around 6:15 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the great beis medrash for Mincha. Baal tefilla: HaRav HaChassid R' Chanoch Kraus.

After Mincha the Rebbe shlit"a entered the great sukkah to bid farewell to the sukkah.
Yom Tov melodies were sung. The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the chevra kadisha as is customary and the entire congregation of thousands of men, and made a blessing on an apple.

The singing continued with melodies of arousal and Hagleh Na.
The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the phrase "Hagleh Na." He first said a few words with emotion, recalling in his holy presence the Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zt"l, whoever once heard at the Hoshana Rabbah drasha those holy words, "Hashem will reveal Himself to us...!" To that person the words Hagleh Na have an entirely different meaning, and the same for whoever heard him say "Umipnei Chata'einu."

"It still lies in our bones to this day...!"
The Rebbe continued the Torah and explained that the four species correspond to the limbs of a person, one brings them into the sukkah, it brings the flow of parnassah and perfect health, and it becomes a glorification of Heaven, and he concluded with abundant blessings.

After the Torah, the singing continued and Hagleh Na was sung again with great arousal.
The Rebbe shlit"a threw apples for a longer time, as was the custom of the Beirach Moshe zt"l and above in holiness, the Divrei Chaim zy"a, and afterwards he recited with emotion the prayer upon leaving the sukkah and the Yehi Ratzon. The Rebbe stood up and declared "Leshanah Haba'ah B'Yerushalayim" with holy fire, and broke out into a fiery dance with the joy of a mitzvah to bid farewell to Yom Tov Sukkos.

The Rebbe left the sukkah with holy dancing and entered the beis medrash and danced around the beis medrash several times, leaning on his brother, the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a, and the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a. It concluded at around 7:55, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.
