Thursday, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 8:15 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered for Shacharis in the local beis medrash.
Baal tefillah: R' Michel Feldman.

- Pesicha: R' Yechiel Michel Eisenberger (Shikun Skvira).
- Baal koreh: Rabbi Yoel Hersh Rottenberg shlit"a (Williamsburg).
- Kohen: R' Refoel Dovid Jebara (Kiryas Joel).
- Levi: R' Chaim Hersh Apfel (Kiryas Joel).
- Shlishi: the Rebbe shlit"a.
- Hagbah: the Rebbe's grandson, HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Hersh Ashkenazi shlit"a, rav of Beis Medrash Rav Tov.
- Gelilah: R' Yisroel Avrohom Rubin (Monsey).

After davening the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence. On the way a pleasant conversation took place about the holy Rebbe R' Moshe Leib of Sassov zy"a, whose yahrzeit it was.

In the evening at around 5:45 the Rebbe shlit"a came in for Mincha. Baal tefillah: R' Dovid Farkash. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe was engaged in his learning, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 6:25, Maariv was davened.
After Maariv, the talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah, Shiur Daled, together with their roshei yeshiva, HaGaon Rabbi Aryeh Dov Kornbluh shlit"a and HaGaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Rosenfeld shlit"a, who came to spend Shabbos "B'tzeil HaKodesh," greeted the Rebbe.
