The night of Yom Tov – Second Seder Night 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before the Seder, the Rebbe went to the mikvah, and afterwards distributed matzos to the grandchildren.

At around 10:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for the Seder wrapped in a borrowed tallis and a kittel and a silver kappel; as he had done at the first Seder, so he did at the second, and the Rebbe performed the holy service.

The Rebbe arranged the Seder plate and said Torah.
During the Seder the Rebbe said divrei Torah 16 times, on: Kadesh, Karpas, Yachatz, Ha Lachma Anya, Avadim Hayinu, Baruch HaMakom, the Rasha — what does he say, the one who does not know how to ask, "In the beginning our fathers were idol worshippers," "and it is that which stood," "and there he became a great nation," "and our toil — these are the children," Rabbi Akiva says, Rabban Gamliel used to say, "this matzah," and Shefoch Chamascha.

During the Seder the grandchildren recited the simanim of the Seder in Yiddish.
Raising the cup for Kiddush: HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the Beis Medrash Beis Boruch shlit"a

At Mah Nishtana, the questions were asked first by HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the Beis Medrash Beis Boruch shlit"a, and then by all the grandchildren together.

The kezeisim were eaten shortly before chatzos. At Shulchan Orech the meal was suitably prolonged. The egg was brought in as is customary, and the meal was as on every Yom Tov. The Rebbe looked into several sefarim during the meal.

At around 1:45 the Rebbe recited Leshem Yichud with fervor and ate the afikoman with deveikus. The afikoman was "stolen" by the faithful house bochur Shneur Zalman Eckstein.
At Shefoch Chamascha the door was opened, and they continued with the recitation of Hallel with tremendous hischazkus, and then the piyutim. It concluded at around 3:55.

After the Seder the Rebbe went over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol and approached the amud to count the first night of the Omer with holy fiery enthusiasm. He then continued the Seder at the Shulchan Orech on the north side of the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The Rebbe led the singing of the nigun for Echad Mi Yodea and Chad Gadya, and said Torah on the piyut "Tzaddikav Yomru Lo," explaining that tzaddikim follow the kri and expound "lo" with a vav, meaning that even if we do not yet have enough merits, since we are going to have them, it is as if we already have them now, and Hakadosh Baruch Hu can redeem Klal Yisroel.
It concluded at around 4:30.

They continued with Purim nigunim.
