The night of "Bedikas Chametz, the day of Biur Chametz, and Shabbos Erev Pesach" in the shadow of holiness of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

Thursday evening at 7:30, the night of Bedikas Chametz, the Rebbe arrived at the great beis medrash for Mincha. After Mincha the gathering "Drawing Our Water" took place amid a large crowd, in the splendor of a king, in the presence of thousands of the city's residents. The Rebbe sat down and songs of inspiration were sung. The Rebbe recited the Leshem Yichud and drew the water three times while songs of devekus were sung, and then honored the children and the city's rabbonim to draw. He then set out dancing with holy emotion, in the joy of a mitzvah. At the time of Maariv the Rebbe davened Maariv, and then went home to his holy residence for Bedikas Chametz. He first placed the 10 pieces on the table and recited the brocha with holy fire, and then went around the entire house for an extended time. Friday at around 8:30 the Rebbe entered the great beis medrash for Shacharis, and after Shacharis sold the chametz to the non-Jew in his private room. At around 10:15 the Rebbe arrived for the burning of the chametz in front of the great beis medrash, recited the Leshem Yichud, threw the chametz together with the lulav into the fire, and recited both yehi ratzons.

At 2:45 the Rebbe arrived at the bakery in the yeshiva ketana building. The Rebbe put on a coat and water, and then distributed pieces of dough, reciting Hallel aloud with outpouring of the soul. He rolled out and finished a matzah, and then looked over the aforementioned and the matzos, and took challah. Afterwards he went over to the bakery in Dinov and inspected it for an extended time.

Erev Shabbos at 7:55 the Rebbe came in for Mincha and went up to the amud. A short time after davening the Rebbe came to the Shabbos table in the Heichal HaShulchanos with the family members and the sons-in-law from out of town. After the kezayis of challah, the tables were cleared (the entire assembly ate the challah at a separate table), and the seudah continued with Pesach-style foods, as per the Rebbe's instruction. On the Rebbe's table there was a piece of challah in a paper until after bentching. At bentching the Rebbe honored HaGaon R' Shlomo Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Ciechanów in Kiryas Joel, to lead. After bentching, fruits were brought in and songs of joy were sung in honor of the Shalom Zachor of the Rebbe's grandson, son of Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Rokeach.

Shabbos morning at 6:30 the Rebbe came in for Shacharis. At around 9:00 the Rebbe went into the Heichal HaShulchanos and made Kiddush. After blessing the egg-and-onion, he went out for a break of a few minutes. The Rebbe washed for the second seudah. After bentching, all remaining chametz was handed over to the non-Jew. The Rebbe removed the kezaisim from the table from the world, and at home recited "Kol Chamira." In the afternoon the Rebbe arrived in the beis medrash for Mincha, Zemiros of Shalosh Seudos, and divrei Torah.
