Report
Friday, Erev Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Bamidbar, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning the brisim took place.
- For a newborn son of R' Betzalel Brach, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- For a newborn son of R' Moshe Yitzchok Bleich, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah building on Wallabout together with the students of grades 6, 7 and 8 of the branch of Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Weiss shlit"a. Upon arrival, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash and looked in on the learning.
The Rebbe recited the verses aloud, verse by verse, for the boys to repeat.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall.
Several niggunim and rhymes were sung. The Rebbe drank lechayim, wished the melamdim and children well, and distributed shirayim to the grandchildren. He then delivered words of Torah and noted that we are approaching Yom Tov Shavuos, and now is the time to accept upon ourselves "na'aseh v'nishma," that we will fulfill all the mitzvos with desire and fervor, both mitzvos between man and Hashem and mitzvos between man and his fellow, and concluded with his holy blessing.
Afterward the Rebbe distributed shirayim to the melamdim to give out to the children.

From there the Rebbe went over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol, where a bris took place for a great-grandson of HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din and Rav shlit"a, a newborn son of his grandson Rabbi Eliyahu Leib Rosenbaum shlit"a, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
After the bris, a lechayim gathering took place in the beis medrash hall. A longer conversation took place with the Dayan shlit"a and the grandfathers, the Rabbanim shlit"a, about stories of tzaddikim. The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly bestowed his holy blessing.
