- Birkas HaMazon: the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Asher Anshil Ashkenazi shlit"a (Manchester).

- Shir HaMa'alos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

The Rebbe said a Torah thought on the Midrash, "When Hashem gave the Torah to Israel, the nations of the world became envious of them," and explained that in order to understand the Torah, which is exceedingly deep, one can only do so if one davens. This is what Klal Yisroel did at Har Sinai during the three days of preparation. But in order to daven, one needs a kosher mouth, and not, chas v'shalom, one that is soiled with forbidden speech, lies, vulgar language, and so on. This is our work as we stand on Rosh Chodesh Sivan: to make sure that we possess a proper and kosher mouth so that we can daven, "and enlighten our eyes in Your Torah," and merit to understand the Torah.

- Yedid Nefesh: R' Yitzchak Markowitz.
- Kel Mistatter: R' Aharon Moshe Slager (Williamsburg).
The Rebbe recited Birkas HaMazon over the cup.

For Maariv on Motzei Shabbos the Rebbe approached the amud in honor of this week's yahrzeit of his ancestor, the holy R' Aharon Teitelbaum zt"l, Av Beis Din of Volove.
After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a good week.
They finished at around 10:55.

After Havdalah, a group of bochurim, talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah Bobov 45 of Boro Park, entered the Rebbe's holy residence after choosing to spend Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh. The Rebbe inquired about their learning, and all the bochurim went over to receive the holy blessing.

At around 12:10, at the Rebbe's holy residence, there was a Kesivas HaOsiyos for the Sefer Torah being written by the family of R' Chaim Shmuel Spielman a"h, which will be brought into the Beis Medrash HaGadol on Yom Tov Shavuos. The Rebbe wrote several letters, Torah melodies were sung, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed of his holy blessing.

At around 12:30 the Rebbe went over to the shul of HaGaon R' Yaakov Shlomo Panet shlit"a, Rav of the beis medrash Shaarei Tefilla in the Helf Hollow neighborhood in Kiryas Joel Expansion, where a Kesivas HaOsiyos took place for the Sefer Torah being written by the mispallelim of the beis medrash. The Rebbe wrote several letters and Torah melodies were sung. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished HaGaon R' Yaakov Shlomo shlit"a and the mispallelim of the beis medrash well, and delivered words of chizuk to the residents of the neighborhood and the mispallelim, saying that in a small beis medrash the participation of every individual makes the difference, and each person bears responsibility to make sure he comes on time to daven and stands together with the whole congregation, and so on. The Rebbe bestowed abundant blessings upon the entire congregation.

Then, at around 12:50, the Rebbe went over to our new beis medrash in the Chasam Sofer neighborhood in Kiryas Joel Expansion. The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance of the newly built wing, and then entered for a lechayim gathering in the heichal of the beis medrash. Joyous melodies were sung, and R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel performed.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the rabbanim of the neighborhood and the mispallelim of the beis medrash well, and delivered words of chizuk, bringing out that Kabbalas HaTorah can only come about through tefillah, and therefore the expansion of the borders of holiness of a beis medrash is a good preparation for Yom Tov Shavuos. He spoke in praise of the mispallelim of the beis medrash, proper and distinguished mispallelim as befits a Satmar beis medrash. The Rebbe continued with words of homiletic wit and repeated a play on the words "B'veis Elokim nehalech b'ragesh" (we walk in the house of G-d with feeling). "Ragesh" is an acronym for "Blotte, Regn, Glitsh, Shnee" (mud, rain, slush, snow), meaning that one must go to the beis medrash in all conditions. The Rebbe said that mud is no longer around, so nowadays one can say that the Beis stands for "Berg" (mountain), that even if the beis medrash is on a steep hill, one still exerts oneself to go to the beis medrash. The Rebbe also brought out the problems of forming minyanim in houses: the "ragesh," the warmth, is missing there. By contrast, here in such a distinguished beis medrash with such distinguished mispallelim, there is certainly "ragesh," and the tefillos are with warmth. The Rebbe concluded with abundant blessings.

Afterward the Rebbe went down to the lowest floor of the beis medrash, where he looked over the mikvah and heard a report from the beis medrash administration about further plans for expanding the borders of the beis medrash. They finished at around 1:15.
