Thursday, Parshas Chukas-Balak — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning the brisos took place.
- For the newborn son of R' Mordechai Yona Weider (Williamsburg), where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- For the newborn son of R' Shmuel Meir Spielman (Williamsburg), where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva Gedolah branch Beirach Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The bochur Zalman Leib Brach.
- The bochur Nata Mordechai Kaufman.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for hagbah. After davening, he taught the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 32, verse 2. Afterwards, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

During the morning hours, talmidim of Yeshiva Beis Avrohom of Lakewood came in to the Rebbe shlit"a at his holy home. The Rebbe inquired about their studies, and the bochurim passed by to receive his blessing.

In the afternoon hours, HaGaon Rabbi Pinchas Leibush Padwa shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Kehillas Shomrei HaDas Antwerp, paid a visit to the Rebbe shlit"a at his holy home. A pleasant conversation ensued on various halachic rulings of his grandfather, HaGaon the Cheshev HaEfod zt"l. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

At around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha at his holy home on Tzanz Street.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim.
- R' Fishel, son of HaRav R' Yosef Hersh Sofer shlit"a, and R' Avrohom Yosef Ackerman shlit"a, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
- R' Zalman Yosef Gold and R' Chaim Yuda Glick, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- R' Shmuel Yaakov Schwartz and R' Yoel Berish Bickel, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

The reception hours for the Rebbe shlit"a were from 8:10 until 12:15 at night at his holy home on Uhel Street.

At around 9:00 the Rebbe went down to the halls at his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tnaim of the mechutanim R' Shlomo Yaakov Berkowitz and R' Zalman Leib Stern.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 10:15 and then continued receiving the public.

During the reception hours, HaGaon Rabbi Shmuel Binyomin Kraus shlit"a, for a refuah shleimah, Nasi of Yeshivas Toras Chesed London, came in to the Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe inquired after his well-being and bestowed his holy blessing upon him.
