🌴 Sunday, Parshas Korach — "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel.

After davening, the brisos took place of the newborn sons of R' Simcha Yisroel Appel and R' Yaakov Epstein, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
Afterwards a lechayim was held with the baalei simcha in his private room.

In the afternoon, at around 2:40, the Rebbe arrived at our great beis medrash in Boro Park, where the Rebbe visited the "Chumash Seudah" of our holy institutions in Boro Park, where the Rebbe delivered words of Torah and warmly bestowed his holy blessings upon the children, parents and grandfathers.

Afterwards the ceremony took place for "the beginning of writing a Sefer Torah, affixing a mezuzah and chanukas habayis" in the office of the distinguished philanthropist R' Yoel Shraga Scher and the distinguished philanthropist R' Yoel Mordechai Gutman, where the Rebbe wrote in the letters, conducted a lechayim gathering and bestowed his holy blessings.

Afterwards the Rebbe visited the sheva brachos simcha at the home of the askan HaRav R' Mordechai Yitzchak Katz, chasan of HaRav R' Shaul, one of the leaders of the kehilla in Boro Park, where the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon the chasan and the mechutanim and joined in a dance.
Also taking part were the askanim of the building fund committee of the Beis Medrash Divrei Yoel of our holy kehilla in Boro Park, who are preparing to rebuild and expand the beis medrash, where the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings. This took place at the home of HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Shlomo Lichtenstein, dayan of the beis medrash.

Afterwards the Rebbe traveled to the guest house and home of R' Moshe Kahana, where the Rebbe davened Mincha.

Immediately after Mincha, the Rebbe arrived at our great beis medrash in Boro Park for the hachnasas sefer Torah donated by the distinguished philanthropist R' Pinchas Moshe Landau. The Rebbe brought in the Torah and danced the holy dances. After the dancing, the Rebbe honored his brother, the Rebbe's brother HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of our kehilla in 15 shlit"a, and the baalei simcha to dance with the Torah, and afterwards recited "L'Dovid Mizmor" as is customary, and with a weeping voice recited the verse "Who may ascend the mountain of Hashem, and who may stand in the place of His holiness" with great arousal.
Afterwards a lechayim took place in the heichal of the beis medrash, in which also took part his brother HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of our kehilla in 15 shlit"a, and HaGaon Rabbi, the Av Beis Din of Reishis Chochma of Montreal shlit"a. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.
As the Rebbe departed, he was escorted with "Ki Malachav" and candles, as he set out on the short holy journey to the holy resting place in Meron.

From there the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg to our great beis medrash, where the hachnasas sefer Torah took place, donated by the esteemed Rosenberg family in memory of their husband/father, the distinguished and renowned philanthropist R' Yitzchak Rosenberg z"l, a leader of our kehilla. The Rebbe brought in the Torah and danced the holy dances. After the dancing, the Rebbe honored the baalei simcha to dance with the Torah, and afterwards recited "L'Dovid Mizmor" as is customary.

"May it be Your will that You open my heart to Your Torah"
Afterwards the Rebbe arrived at the home of the chasan, the bochur HaRav R' Shmuel son of R' Menachem Teitelbaum, chasan of R' Aharon Friedman, one of the outstanding talmidim of our yeshiva "Mesivta Hakedosha" of Satmar, who was tested before the Rebbe shlit"a, the Rosh Yeshiva, on the entire Shas. The baal simcha made the siyum, nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed warm holy blessings, also upon the parents and grandfathers.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at his holy home, where it was the time of entry.

A report on the elevated celebration of the siyum on Maseches Yevamos at the Chaburas Yesodei HaTorah will follow.
