"Who shall ascend the mountain of Hashem, and who shall stand in His holy place?"

Festive holy words from the pure, heartfelt longings of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a after Shacharis at the celebration of the siyum on Maseches Yevamos of the "Yesodei HaTorah" group, regarding the short holy journey to the holy site of Meron.

"...IY"H tomorrow I am traveling to Eretz Yisroel for a short trip. I am traveling to the holy site of Meron, to the resting place of the Tanna Elokai, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. For some time now I have had a yearning to travel to Meron..."
The Rebbe also expressed the yearning of his father, the Rebbe zy"a, to travel to Meron without a crowd, and said: "...A trembling seized me! Today I said 'Who shall ascend the mountain of Hashem, and who shall stand in His holy place?' and it shook me from head to foot!! Who shall ascend the mountain of Hashem, and who shall stand in His holy place!!!..." The Rebbe then expressed the holy feelings of the unforgettable "Shabbos Meron," the spiritual elevation of a Shabbos that was entirely spiritual in the courtyard of the holy Tanna Rabbi Shimon. He recalled what happened Friday night when the shed shook, and said that after the tragedy of Lag B'Omer, one should reflect a little on "the miracles and wonders that it did not collapse." "I feel that one must go to Meron and say on behalf of the entire congregation that was there: Blessed is He Who performed miracles for us in this place, but the merit of the holy Tanna R' Shimon stood by us!" "...Who shall ascend the mountain of Hashem, and who shall stand in His holy place. I hope to be able to say Tehillim at the holy site and daven at the holy resting place for myself, for my family, and for all our chassidim..."
The Rebbe specifically asked the askanim to arrange that the chassidim who learn in the "Yesodei HaTorah V'Sorascha Shaashuai" group be able to send along a kvitel, and he concluded with lengthy holy blessings.

His Torah is a shield for us, it is the light of our eyes; may he plead well on our behalf, our master Bar Yochai
