🌴 Thursday–Friday, Parshas Balak: "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a 🌴

The Rebbe davened Shacharis at around 7:30 at his holy home.

In the afternoon, the Bobov Rebbe shlit"a, who was visiting the Bobov yeshiva camp in the Kiryas Joel area, came for a visit of honor to the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a at his holy home. A lengthy, friendly conversation took place about Torah and Chassidus; the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and accompanied him out to his car.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Aharon Shmuel Fuchs and R' Shabsai Yaakov Wertheimer at Kinor David Hall,
and at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Pinchas Eliezer Friedman of Montreal and R' Shalom Yosef Schaper at Bais Rachel Paradise Hall.

Later the Rebbe read the tenaim in the tenaim hall at his holy home, of the Rebbetzin zy"a,
-at the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Menachem Yeshaya Levy and R' Yoel Yisroel Meir Spielman,
-and at the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Moshe Shmuel Neiman and R' Yoel Friedman, son of HaRav R' Shmuel, one of the shamashim.

Before davening, the bris of the newborn son of R' Tzvi Tuvi Gedalya Epstein took place, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in our yeshiva "Misivta HaKedosha," Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim, the bochur Yechezkel Shraga Mertz,
and the bochur Yitzchak Tzvi Berkowitz.
After davening a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim.

"At five years old, to Mikra"

At around 12:30 in the morning, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Monsey at the Ateres Charna halls, where the Rebbe presided at the "Chumash Seudah" of nearly one hundred first-grade talmidim of our holy institutions in Monsey.
The Rebbe was welcomed by the young children with beautiful rhymes in honor of the occasion. The Rebbe then drank a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessings on the children, parents and grandfathers, and delivered words of holy Torah.

After the Chumash Seudah the Rebbe distributed holy coins to the older talmidim of our institutions in Monsey who had brought in larger sums for the benefit of the institutions during the days of Purim that just passed.
