This afternoon HaGaon Rabbi Binyon HaKohen Strasser shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Neitra Boro Park, came for a holy visit to the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a at the Rebbe's guest residence in Boro Park, where the Rebbe shlit"a gave him a gift of a new "tallis" onto which the Rebbe shlit"a had the tzitzis tied, handmade from the wool that the Rebbe shlit"a himself sheared, fulfilling the mitzvah of matnas kehunah at the historic Reishis HaGez ceremony this past Chol HaMoed Pesach, at which the Neitra Rav shlit"a served as the kohen.
A warm conversation took place regarding the mitzvah, halacha and the customs of Yisroel, and among other things they discussed the importance of the tzitzis, that the wool was shorn lishmah.
