Mosdos Yitev Lev – Tzedakas R' Meir Baal HaNes is concluding a year of record-setting fundraising.
This year, for the first time in its history, in a 12-month year, Yitev Lev raised the fantastic sum of over four million dollars from the generous donors of our chassidim across the world. This extraordinary sum of four million dollars is money that came in from the pushkes in the homes of our chassidim, from funds that the Yitev Lev askanim brought in by going around the batei medrash and by knocking on the doors of our chassidim, and of course also from the generous hearts of the wealthy among our chassidim.
The holy emissaries of Yitev Lev relate that the public has shown warmth toward Yitev Lev. As is known, the Rebbe shlit"a constantly mentions the saying of the Divrei Yoel zt"l, "All the songs are holy, but the Song of Songs is the Holy of Holies." All tzedakos are holy, but Yitev Lev is the Holy of Holies.
And reality shows that our chassidim, the donors of Mosdos Yitev Lev, see open miracles and Heavenly assistance from this holy tzedakah.
It must also be brought out that the money which the office gathered and sent to the holy mosdos in Eretz Yisroel is in addition to the funds that Yitev Lev in Europe sends to Eretz Yisroel, in addition to the huge sums sent for the buildings under construction, and in addition to the funds raised for the Yamim Tovim to cover the budget through the devoted head of the kehilla, R' Meir Hirsch.
It is worth noting that during the Rebbe shlit"a's most recent trip to Eretz Yisroel this past month of Sivan, the holy R' Meir Hirsch told the directors of our holy mosdos throughout Eretz Yisroel that their united cooperation and conduct would only bring strength to the support raised abroad. How fitting these words are now at the end of the year, when one looks back and sees the wonderful cooperation among our holy mosdos in Yerushalayim, Bnei Brak and Beit Shemesh, and in addition sees the grand success of the overseas office of Mosdos Yitev Lev, as never before.
The Divrei Yoel zy"a once said to a servant of Mosdos Yitev Lev that far more than the residents of Eretz Yisroel benefit from the support Mosdos Yitev Lev sends, the Jews abroad, the supporters and donors of the mosdos in every place, benefit, and the merit protects them in all matters.
