Report
Below we complete the reports of Chol HaMoed from the "B'tzeil HaKodesh" of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a that have not yet been reported

The night of the second day of Chol HaMoed, Ushpizin of Moshe Rabbeinu

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha at around 7:30, and Maariv at 8:30 in his holy home.

Because of the rain, the Rebbe shlit"a held his pure table in honor of the Ushpizin privately in his holy home, where only a select few attendants in the holy service partook of the seudah.

At around 9:10, when the rain let up, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the Seder HaUshpizin and then washed for the Yom Tov seudah. The Rebbe made a "leishev baSukkah," and, Baruch Hashem, was able to eat the entire Yom Tov seudah.

Before bentching, the door was opened, and those who had sponsored the Ushpizin passed through to take shirayim of the sweet fruits; several of the sponsors also brought kugels. The Rebbe tasted and distributed shirayim.

Yom Tov melodies were sung, and the Rebbe shlit"a spoke about various customs from the old country, about the custom in Sighet regarding the Ushpizin, that grapes were placed after davening Maariv, and more.

Bentching: Motzei Shabbos, R' Yehoshua Mendlowitz.

After the seudah there was a visit with the Rebbe shlit"a by HaTzaddik R' Kalman Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Sanz in Kiryas Joel, who invited the Rebbe shlit"a to the Kiddusha Rabba simcha for his granddaughter, born to his son-in-law Rabbi Chaim Meisels, son of the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Montreal shlit"a, and the Rebbe shlit"a warmly wished him mazel tov.

At around 11:05 the Rebbe shlit"a entered our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel for the zemiros, divrei Torah and the Simchas Beis HaShoeivah gathering.

Upon entering, the Rebbe shlit"a broke into a dance on the spot, and melodies were sung in honor of Yom Tov and Simchas Beis HaShoeivah.

With the Shir HaMaalos, the Rebbe honored the following:
His grandson Rabbi Moshe Meisels, son-in-law of HaGaon R' Henoch Ashkenazi shlit"a, may he be well.
R' Moshe Goldstein.
R' Moshe Yaakov Aharon Levy.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Send now through the one You would send – through Rabbi Akiva," and explained that when a human being builds a sukkah and it spreads kedusha, that is a far greater miracle than the Clouds of Glory, which spread kedusha. This is what Rabbi Akiva says, that Sukkos is a remembrance of an actual sukkah and not of the Clouds of Glory. "Every native in Israel shall dwell in sukkos" — every single one, all of Klal Yisroel — "for I caused the Children of Israel to dwell in sukkos." It is a remembrance of an actual sukkah because it is a far greater miracle than the Clouds of Glory, and this is what Moshe Rabbeinu answered the angels who said, "Give Your splendor over the heavens."

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a spoke powerful words of chizuk, that precisely because one is a human being, and does the will of Hashem, this is far more precious.

After the holy words, the central Simchas Beis HaShoeivah took place with drums and dancing, with the participation of the Rebbe shlit"a. It ended at around 12:10.

Friday, the second day of Chol HaMoed

In his holy home the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Chaim Dovid Moskowitz.

And the bris of the newborn son of R' Yitzchak Wolf Greenwald, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a entered our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel for Shacharis at around 10:10. The baal tefillah was R' Yoel Ber Hirsch.

The Rebbe shlit"a approached Hallel and offered his holy service during the shaking of the lulav with great fervor and hisorerus, and afterwards recited the Hoshanos. Honored with the petichah was R' Avrohom Dovid Gottlieb (of Williamsburg).

At the Torah reading the following were honored. Kohen: R' Lipa Friedman (of Williamsburg); Levi: R' Moshe Ber Landau; Shlishi: the bar mitzvah bochur Chaim Dovid Moskowitz; Revi'i: the Rebbe shlit"a. Hagbah: R' Yitzchak Baruch Brown (Monsey); Gelilah: Rabbi Meir Meyer shlit"a (Boro Park).
