Tuesday, Parshas Vayechi — 10 Teves — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put on tefillin for the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Eckstein.
the bochur Yoel Landau.

At Selichos, Tachanun and Nefilas Apayim were said first, after the Shemoneh Esrei, and then the Selichos, as is customary. The baal tefillah was R' Shmuel Krausz. During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went to hagbah.

In the afternoon at around 5:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home. During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for shlishi and maftir. At the time of Rabbeinu Tam, the Rebbe davened Maariv.

At around 8:10, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Williamsburg, where the upsherin celebration of a grandson of the Rebbe shlit"a, the son of HaGaon Rabbi Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, took place in the home of the Rav of Sighet shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a cut the child's hair, then conducted a lechayim gathering and gave his holy blessings to his son, HaGaon Rabbi Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, and his entire family.

Afterwards, there were yechidus hours from 8:45 until 12:00.
