Part 2, Parshas Bo: 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in the vacation city of Palm Springs, California

At around 8:15 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the local beis medrash for Shacharis. After davening, the Rebbe walked back to his lodging, during which a beautiful conversation took place about the customs of Yisroel regarding Nittel. The Rebbe gave his directive that our minhag is to learn only until chatzos of the night, and that the seder of the night of Erev Shabbos at the morning watch should continue as every week.

In the late morning, around 11:40, the Rebbe went for a walk in Nevei Desheh, during which wonderful conversations took place in Torah thoughts and stories of tzaddikim. Among other things, the Rebbe spoke about various interesting memories from the early years in the days of the holy Rebbe zy"a, and his connection in Torah with the great men of Yisroel.

In the evening at 5:30 the Rebbe entered for Mincha. Between Mincha and Maariv, the Rebbe studied Torah at his place in the beis medrash, and Maariv was davened at the time of Rabbeinu Tam.
