Monday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Divrei Yoel." After davening, he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 9, verse 1.
In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Sniff Vayoel Moshe, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room, and at 5:50 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.
In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Moshe Yaakov Wertzberger - R' Yuda Moskowitz, at Kinor David hall.
He also officiated at the chuppah of the mechutanim HaGaon R' Alexander Yekusiel Landau shlit"a - HaGaon R' Aryeh Asher Indig shlit"a, moreh tzedek of the Beis Medrash Maharsha of our kehilla in Kiryas Joel, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.
At night there were times for entering the Rebbe's room (yechidus) from 8:00 until 12:20.
The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim, with the wish that the tenaim be fulfilled "in his home, a place of holiness," at the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Shmuel Kessler (of Williamsburg) - R' Chaim Moshe Bitman.
Around 10:10 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home, and continued to receive the public.
During the yechidus times, the leadership of the Hisachdus Avreichim of our holy kehilla in Monsey entered together with the leaders of our holy kehilla and the Gaon, Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of our Monsey kehilla shlit"a, to receive his holy blessings for the upcoming annual gathering of the members and melave malka this coming Motzei Shabbos. The Rebbe shlit"a inquired about the activities, drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.
Also entering was HaGaon R' Pinchas Wind shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek in the holy community of Belz and president of the Beis Horaah for matters of ribbis. The dayan shlit"a presented the Rebbe with his works on the laws of ribbis, and a lengthy halachic conversation developed on this difficult subject. The Rebbe shlit"a bestowed his holy blessings upon the distinguished dayan and gave him a gift of his sefer Lev Aharon.
