Monday, Parshas Shemini — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the bris took place of the newborn son of R' Chaim Berkowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, the "Sniff Divrei Yoel." Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Moshe Yosha Weiss. During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for shlishi.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 9, verse 2, and afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe shlit"a made his weekly visit to the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Sniff Kedushas Yoel, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim:
R' Levi Yitzchak Feder - R' Shaul Yechezkel Gross, at the Keren V'Yoel Moshe hall.
R' Pinchas Frankel (Williamsburg) - R' Shmuel Hersh Feldman, at the Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Menachem Yeshaya Levi - R' Yoel Yisroel Meir Spielman, at the Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night there were times for entering the Rebbe's room from 7:45 until 11:50.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held in his holy home, of the mechutanim R' Yoel Tzvi Pilaff (Monsey) - R' Yoel Berish Bickel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 11:50 in his holy home. After Maariv, the bochur Moshe Dovid, son of HaRav R' Menachem Zev Mokobetzky shlit"a (Kiryas Joel), one of the outstanding talmidim of the Mesivta - Sniff Divrei Yoel, presented himself to be tested by the Rebbe on 1,500 blatt Gemara by heart.
