Tuesday, Parshas Tahara — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. After davening, the Nasi was read, and the Rebbe shlit"a recited the customary yehi ratzon.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe paid a visit to the matzah bakery, where matzos were being baked for the family of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a served as mesader kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yeshaya Yitzchak Rubin (Williamsburg) and R' Yaakov Mordechai Gross (Kiryas Joel), at Kinor David hall.

At around 8:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home at the Uhel complex, and Maariv at around 9:15. Before Maariv, the Rebbe lit candles and approached the amud and said Kaddish, in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbetzin Bracha Sima a"h, wife of his holy grandfather, the Atzei Chaim zt"l.

At around 9:45 the Rebbe went over to Beis Medrash Divrei Yoel Moshe to preside over the bar mitzvah simcha of his grandson, the bochur Naftali Elimelech ny"v, son of the Rebbe's son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi Baruch Teitelbaum shlit"a, Rav of Beis Medrash Beirach Moshe in Kiryas Joel.

The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and after the fish the Rebbe wished a lechayim to the bar mitzvah bochur and to the entire assembly. In the middle of the seudas mitzvah, the bar mitzvah bochur delivered a pshetl. During the seudah, the Rebbe's son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi Baruch shlit"a and the grandfather, the HaGaon Av Beis Din of Volove shlit"a, spoke. Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a delivered words of Torah, and concluded with his holy blessing to the bar mitzvah bochur, to his son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi Baruch shlit"a and to the entire assembly. For Birkas HaMazon the Rebbe honored the bar mitzvah bochur, and the event concluded at around 11:10.
