Friday, Parshas Tahara — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Mendel Leib Perlmutter took place, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe laid tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochurim:
the son of HaRav R' Binyamin Alter Fanet shlit"a,
the bochur Yoel Rosenfeld.
Before davening the Rebbe lit 5 candles, and during davening said Kaddish, in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbetzin, the righteous Chana a"h, the mother of the Rebbetzin of the Kedushas Yom Tov zt"l. After davening, the Nasi was read, and the Rebbe recited the Yehi Ratzon as is customary. Afterward, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash.
