During the Torah, the Rebbe discussed the verse "What is this service to you?" and explained that Jews eat and drink to have strength to serve Hashem, unlike the nations of the world, who eat in order to have further strength to eat. The matzah imparts wisdom and instills a power of kedusha to eat for the sake of Heaven.
