Tuesday, Parshas Acharei 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash Rav Tuv of our holy kehilla on the occasion of the simcha of the bris milah of the newborn son of his grandson HaGaon Rabbi R' Chaim Hersh Ashkenazi shlit"a, the Rav of the beis medrash.
Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochurim.

Afterwards the Rebbe lit 5 candles on the occasion of the holy hilula of his ancestor, the Holy Rebbe, the Divrei Chaim of Sanz zy"a.
After davening the simcha of the bris milah took place. Sandekaus: the HaGaon, Rav of our holy kehilla, of Boro Park shlit"a; Mohel: the father of the baby, HaGaon R' Chaim Hersh shlit"a; Sandek standing: the co-father-in-law (mechutan), HaGaon, Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a.
Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a recited the blessings, and the name "Shalom Eliezer" was given in Yisroel, after the baby's great-grandfather, the holy Rebbe R' Shalom Eliezer of Ratzfert zy"a.
Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol, where the bris of the newborn son of R' Mordechai Barzesky took place, and the Rebbe served as sandek.
Afterwards the Rebbe returned to the seudas bris in Beis Medrash Rav Tuv. The baal simcha, HaGaon R' Chaim Hersh shlit"a, spoke words of Torah. The Rebbe honored his grandson Rabbi Menachem Shlomo Ashkenazi shlit"a with "Yom LeYabasha," and with the "Michtam LeDavid," on the occasion of the yahrzeit of the Divrei Chaim zy"a, his grandson Rabbi Meshulam Zusha Rosenbaum shlit"a.
Afterwards the Rebbe delivered holy words in honor of the simcha, spoke in praise of the beis medrash, and gave blessings to the baal simcha, to the grandfathers, and to the entire kehilla. He then continued with holy stories about the Holy Rebbe, the Divrei Chaim zy"a.
For Birkas Hamazon the Rebbe honored his grandson Rabbi Yoel Ashkenazi shlit"a, and the Harachamans were recited by the family members. The seudah concluded at around 1:30.
In the evening at around 8:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Sanz Street, Kiryas Joel. Maariv was at around 9:15; before davening the Rebbe lit 5 candles, approached the amud and recited Kaddish, on the occasion of the holy yahrzeit of his father, the holy Rebbe zy"a.
