Friday, Parshas Kedoshim, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During davening, Tachanun was said as is the custom of our holy Rebbes on the bitter and swift day, the 5th of Iyar, even on Erev Shabbos. After davening, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe of Kahal Chassidei Yerushalayim shlit"a, who is spending Shabbos in Kiryas Joel, came for a private visit in the Rebbe's home. He conveyed warm regards to the Rebbe shlit"a from the yeshiva ketana of our holy institutions in the holy city of Yerushalayim, where he had recently tested the bochurim. A pleasant conversation ensued about the customs of the Bnei Eretz Yisroel outside Eretz Yisroel regarding the differences in the parshiyos. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessings, and then accompanied him out to the street.
