Wednesday, Parshas Bechukosai — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Yoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
the son of HaGaon R' Yoel Gutman shlit"a, a moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 12, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

During the morning hours, HaRav HaTzaddik R' Avrohom Mordechai Alter shlit"a, son of the Gur Rebbe shlit"a, visited the Rebbe's holy chamber in his home. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon him and sent regards to the Gur Rebbe shlit"a.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.

In the evening at around 8:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his home on Ohel Court. Afterwards, there were entry times to the Rebbe's holy chamber until 1:15 at night.

During the entry times, the askanim of the "Women's Klal Yisroel Gathering" against the dangers of technology, which is planned for the coming weeks after Shavuos, entered the Rebbe's holy chamber. All the plans and details of the gathering were discussed, and the Rebbe bestowed his blessing.

R' Yehoshua Hersh Glick - Rabbi Shmuel Efraim Gold shlit"a.

Afterwards, a lechayim gathering was held in the beis medrash adjacent to his home for the askanim of the "Klal Yisroel Campaign" to save pure chinuch in New York, as an expression of appreciation for their devoted work in collecting tens of thousands of petitions. On the spot alone there were close to one hundred thousand petitions, which the faithful askanim have already traveled today, Thursday, to deliver to the government authorities in Albany.

The Rebbe looked over the thousands of petitions with great nachas, and then drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing upon all the askanim, especially the driving force of the petition drive, the askan HaRav R' Shlomo Menashe Falkowitz and HaRav R' Aharon Yosef Friedman. The Rebbe emphasized the importance of the petitions and the good influence they can, b'ezras Hashem, have in the high political corridors, and if necessary, also in court. He also wished that "Hashem should turn the heart of the government toward us for good."

Later, the gathering continued, with the askan HaRav R' Shlomo Menashe Falkowitz speaking, expressing his heartfelt emotions upon the numbers reaching far beyond expectations. Afterwards, the great askan R' Aharon Bentzion Wieder and Rabbi Moshe Schwab shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Degel HaTorah Monsey, spoke.

After the gathering, the leading askanim entered the Rebbe's holy chamber, headed by the askan R' Aharon Bentzion Wieder and Rabbi Moshe Schwab shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Degel HaTorah Monsey, where they discussed with the Rebbe further plans for generations, for tefillah, and for the battle to save chinuch in New York.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 12:40. Before Maariv, the Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of his uncle, HaRav HaKadosh Rabbi Yekusiel Yehuda Teitelbaum zt"l Hy"d, Av Beis Din of Sighet, and after Maariv he went to the amud for the Sefirah.
