Tuesday "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Shacharis at around 8:45. Before davening the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Lipa Dresdner (Kiryas Joel).
The bochur Kalman Eisdorfer (Boro Park).

Before Shacharis the Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of the Arizal HaKadosh zy"a. Baal tefillah: R' Moshe Noach Goldstein (Kiryas Joel).

After davening a lechayim gathering took place in the Heichal of the beis medrash. The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the bar mitzvah bochurim and the entire gathering. A longer conversation developed about various memories from the early years in America, and the Rebbe related stories, accounts and holy customs of the Arizal HaKadosh zy"a. Afterwards the Rebbe walked home.

The Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Mincha at around 8:50. Before Mincha he lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe learned Torah in the beis medrash. At nightfall, around 9:25, he davened Maariv. After Maariv the Rebbe walked home.
