Wednesday, Parshas Ki Seitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the brisos took place.
For the son born to R' Mordechai Eli Masri, where the Rebbe was sandek and mohel.
For the son born to R' Moshe Hillel Weingarten, where the Rebbe was sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Veyoel Moshe. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening the Rebbe blew the shofar, and then the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 12, verse 7. Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon at around 1:30, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at Rottenburg Street (Ratzfert Street), where the ceremony of pouring the foundation for the new mikvah tahara, which will be built b'ezras Hashem for the neighborhood, took place. Also present were HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din shlit"a, the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, the Rav of Beis Medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a, and other rabbonim of the area. The Rebbe poured the foundations and honored the Av Beis Din shlit"a, the rabbonim shlit"a, and the heads of the kehilla and the donors with pouring as well. Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held, niggunim were sung in honor of the occasion, and a pleasant conversation developed. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

At around 1:55 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Heichal HaMesivta, Sniff Berach Moshe, where the Rebbe delivered the first sugya shiur, on the sugya of "Ein Shaliach L'davar Aveira," in preparation for the Shabbos Shuva drasha. Before beginning the shiur, the Rebbe expressed praise and thanks that the last time this sugya of Ein Shaliach L'davar Aveira was learned was two years ago, during the time of Corona, when it could not be taught before a large gathering but only privately in his holy home. Now, thanks to the kindness of Hashem's great Name, it can once again be taught publicly. The shiur ended at around 2:45.

Times of entry to the holy chamber were from around 6:00 until 11:40 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court.


In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

R' Baruch Mordechai Dresdner (the in-law of his son-in-law) - R' Pinchas Mandlowitz, at the Beis Rochel Paradise hall.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 7:45, and Maariv at around 11:50 in his holy home.
