Thursday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Avrohom Tzvi Azriel Shehr took place, with the Rebbe serving as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Birkas Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yaakov Yisroel Katina.
The bochur Eli Reizman.
The bochur Dovid Yuda Mandel.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah. After davening, the shofar was blown.

After davening, the outstanding talmidim of the Birkas Moshe branch of the yeshiva, who were tested by heart on the entire Maseches Bava Basra, entered the Rebbe's private room in kodesh, and the Rebbe distributed a sefer Tehillim to all the bochurim, the very one the Rebbe had used over the past weeks. Afterwards a lechayim with the bar mitzvah bochurim took place in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:00, the Rebbe returned to the Heichal HaMesivta, Birkas Moshe branch, where the Rebbe reviewed the fifth sugya shiur and the sugya of 'Ein shliach l'davar aveirah', and prepared for the Shabbos Shuva derasha. After the shiur, a lechayim celebration took place in honor of the end of the zman; niggunim were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to the rebbeim of the yeshiva and all the bochurim, and delivered words of holy inspiration and guidance for the bein hazmanim days. It concluded at around 1:45.

Times for entering the Rebbe's presence in kodesh were from 6:15 in the afternoon until 1:00 at night, at his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha at around 7:50, and Maariv at around 1:00 at his holy home.
